I can relate about how you tried to get in the moment during her final feeds. I often spent a lot of my nursing time reading or catching up online via my cell phone. Once I got down to once a day (just before bed), I realized that I should probably be paying more attention. I'm glad I did. Hoping the adjustment to this next step in your relationship goes well. My doctor advised me otherwise and there didn't seem to be any doubt. This is a pretty serious medication. But I'll call Motherisk at the Hospital For Sick Kids and check out LactMed to be sure.
